Event visual identity for Super Saturday Night, a premiere concert held on location the night before the Super Bowl.
Directv throws one of the hottest concerts of Super Bowl weekend, with past talent including Jay Z, Beyonce, and Taylor Swift. The Foo Fighters and Run the Jewels were set to bring the heat at Super Saturday Night 2019, so we infused the night with a luxurious, heavy metal treatment built on a system influenced by the location’s rich history. Our event took place in the historic Atlantic Station, formerly a train station in the center of the Atlanta Steel Mill in the early 1900’s.
Using a grid created from merging parallel lines we created a unique mark that was “forged from heavy metal”. The identity was then expressed in a multitude of ways across the venue. Larger-than-life motion graphics, interactive installations, digital experiences, and environmental graphics were a few of the ways we brought the space to life creating a deeply immersive experience for concertgoers.
